Recent additions - 2015[edit]

@BQUB15-Gmalats, BQUB15-Imorales, BQUB15-Mhazan, and BQUB15-Nplanella97: Thank you for your contributions. However it is essential that material that is added to Wikipedia articles be supported by high quality reliable sources. Normally patent and press releases are not considered reliable sources to support scientific information. In addition, per WP:MEDRS, secondary sources (i.e., review articles) are need to support medical claims. The banner above provides a link to high quality sources. Please base material that you add on these sources. Also if you haven't seen this yet, check out User:Diberri's Wikipedia template filling tool (instructions). Given a PubMed ID, one can quickly produce a formatted citation that can be copied and pasted into a Wikipedia article. Cheers. Boghog (talk) 17:46, 18 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • There seems to be much text that seems to have a POV and is awkwardly expressed - Has it been lifted from a patent ? Unproven speculation and opinion should not be presented as fact - Article needs much rewording and additional sources or citations. - Rod57 (talk) 23:21, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can we clarify[edit]

  • What causes higher levels of Lingo1 ? (how is it regulated)
  • what is its [beneficial] function (in development and adults) ?
  • where in the pancreas is it expressed, and what are its effects in the pancreas ? - Rod57 (talk) 23:21, 2 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
