As a matter of fact, he is named. His name is Janet. Also, if I am not mistaken, it is only Frédéri who is in love with L'Arlésienne Kostaki mou 00:59, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page moves[edit]

Rather then arguing the merits of L'Arlésienne (novel and play), L'Arlésienne (short story) and L'Arlésienne (Alphonse Daudet), may I suggest L'Arlésienne point here as the WP:primarytopic subject instead? Garbled sentence?[edit]

I see the following about The Girl from Arles: "written by and translated from the French by Michael Robson". This seems to say the play was both written by Robson and translated from the French by Robson, which is very strange. Should it read "written by Daudet and translated from the French by Michael Robson"? That is also strange, as the play is not an adaptation if it is just a translation of the original French.
