PoV[edit]

It appears that there is extreme undue weight in this article. Almost the entire article talks about reports by two NGOs, at least one of which is known to be anti-Israel. Moreover, the article portrays the finding of these groups as facts, which they may or may not be. Lastly, the section about DCI appears to be based on a report that was close to the prison reopening, and it was not followed up. A couple of the problems listed are common to prisons, and others have clearly been fixed since the report (such as medical care).

At the very least, the article should include an ICRC report in addition to, or instead of, the existing ones, and also whatever information comes from the IDF and IPS themselves. Ideally, the article should be based on none of these things and include only information from reliable, third-party sources, but not many of them exist and this is the reason that I did not create this article years ago. —Ynhockey (Talk) 09:56, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 12:14, 21 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A new section for Famous Former Prison Guards?[edit]

Jeffrey Goldberg http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeffrey_Goldberg#Books comes to mind. He's written an entire book on the subject. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.197.91.136 (talk) 15:40, 14 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
