COI edits?[edit]

Multiple users have repeatedly removed correctly-sourced information from this page, with the comment that the sources are incorrect (but have not offered alternative sources). I suspect these may be autobiographical/COI edits, based on (1) the claims of knowledge that doesn't seem to come from any public source; (2) the fact that one of the users in question had a username that may indicate an affiliation with the subject's management company; and (3) the limited edit histories of the users in question (this page only, or this page and a couple others on artists with the same management). Editors should take note of the policies discussed at WP:AUTO and WP:COI, and, if they are editing based on a personal connection to the artist's subject, consider posting any concerns on the talk page rather than editing the page directly. Without additional discussion, other contributors cannot take the word of a single editor over that of published sources as to which facts are accurate. I am restoring some of the deleted information and adding a couple of additional sources; if the information is removed from the page again without discussion, I will seek the involvement of Wikipedia administrators. 68.122.68.131 (talk) 19:21, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Dark Black, new album added to article[edit]

Added a new section on Train's upcoming new album, Dark Black. Nobody had updated her entry yet and I opted to included this information. Also added reference to the new information. 98.209.246.195 (talk) 03:01, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hagiography or Bio?[edit]

Terrific artist but this entry reads like it's been written by her management - agree with previous comments. Do we really need the bio of her ballet teacher, for example?!?

Needs cleaning up and more factual info rather than celebrating her life. She's now becoming very popular indeed on the back of the Lexus campaign and deserves a neutral entry here. PetePharm (talk) 18:58, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A cacophony of edits by a particular IP last year turned the article into a resume. I have reverted back to a revision of mine.--Launchballer 19:22, 6 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
