Name[edit]

The Korean name of this has changed over the years, which is what is holding back some of my searches on earlier years. Besides simply moving from Chinese characters to Korean letters, they've also changed some of the words that made up the title. I've found an announcement of the first one, but no out come yet.--Crossmr (talk) 09:41, 9 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[1] This appears to be the story announcing the first one. At the time it was called the Domestic Ice Games Tournament, as it included things beyond ice hockey. Also this story indicates that in the second year the winners were given the Ahn Min-jeong Cup as a trophy.[2].--Crossmr (talk) 12:42, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Title of the article[edit]

I think the title of the article should be "National Ice Hockey Championship" rather than "Korea National Ice Hockey Championship".

  • The official title of this competition does not contain a word corresponding to 'Korea'.
  • An English newspaper article mentioned this competition as 'National Ice Hockey Championship'. [3]
Who cares what the official name is, "National Ice Hockey Championship" is WAY too vague and random and can refer to like 50 leagues around the world, this is not a well-known competition like Premier League but some random, minor, semi-pro ice hockey competition.
