"Hoshi no Kirby" should not link to this page, as that is the name the games are given in Japan as well ever since the original. --Zilog Jones 21:58, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed random snippet wondering where Ribbon is.

Someone needs to change "was seen on..." to "is seen on..." --129.2.227.213 08:34, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Um, isn't this page a bit... cluttered? I mean I can understand the list of main chars, but listing every single guest that appeared in the series seems a bit excessive. I think the article would do just fine without such an extensive - and cluttered - list. Same goes for the episode list. It's really great that they're all there, but when I look at it I'm lost (despite having followed the series somewhat obsessively). Couldn't we group it into seasons and maybe cut out all those skipped lines between? I don't know, it just seems like the whole thing should be condensed to make room for a more useful and friendly article.

Might I add that the box on the bottom doesn't fit into my screen. --69.70.207.104 01:15, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. To add, we don't need such a cluttered list of Guest Characters- it looks messy. If anything there should be a seperate page with short descriptions of them, but not on the main page... I also removed the episode list and just kept the link to the full ep list. --Ivyna J. Spyder 01:22, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We could spin off such lists to a new article WhisperToMe 01:53, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Characters too informal[edit]

Someone really needs to filter through the character list and make it more formal. Exclamation points and the like should be removed. Features purely related to the dub should take second place, as they are modifications (and often poor) of the original. I'm willing to take this upon myself if no one else is. --Zippo 19:20, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Which character list? The main characters or the Guest characters? Because I've been working on the latter because it's a mess. I think it should have a seperate small page instead of taking up so much space on this one, to be honest. Ivyna J. Spyder 22:01, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fire Lion[edit]

This is Fire Lion, who appears in the anime - http://kirby.classicgaming.gamespy.com/games/nightmare/miniboss/flaminleo.PNG

This is Burnin Leo, who does NOT appear in the anime - http://kirby.classicgaming.gamespy.com/games/superstar/enemies/Image164.gif

Any questions? No? Good. Please stop changing stuff when you don't have the correct information. Thanks. Ivyna J. Spyder 06:29, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FAQs[edit]

Um, I was just wondering. I checked through all the Kirby websites, and I found Tiff appearing in a total of 99 episodes. The last one I couldn't find her in was Episode 78, Right Hand Robot. Did she not appear in this episode?

--jonghyunchung

Hmm, I dunno how you could've missed her, seeing as how she's right there helping Escargon rebuild the robot at one point in the second half of the episode. (That's not the only time you see her in the episode, either.) DisasterKirby 02:34, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You emailed me about this too. She appears in every episode, I have no idea where you're finding she's not. Ivyna J. Spyder 15:07, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cancellation[edit]

It was announced on 4KidsTV that Kirby is being cancelled. 67.188.172.165 22:24, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It's ending. They're showing the final episodes so... Ivyna J. Spyder 23:09, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Totally doubtful. The 13th/29th episode, with the New Year fireworks, is being run before New Year's eve. --jonghyunchung
This is on the terms of new episodes here. Reruns don't mean anything on the terms of the series being 'over'. DisasterKirby 08:59, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, now it's cancelled, with the last episode aired on January 6, 2007. --jonghyunchung

Max Headroom[edit]

Customer Service is rather simular to 80s icon Max Headroom, do you think this is a running reference?

This page needs some major work! Please read![edit]

If you look at this page, it obviously needs lots of work. For example, the Japanese (Pupupu) and English (Cappy) words for a specific character are used interchangeably. The article is heavily centered on the Japanese version of the show, but this is an English article! I propose the idea to keep the basic Japanese facts in the article, but mainly using the English names. However, this would be a major edit, and I am new to Wiki editing, so I can't do this alone. Please post on my talk page about your ideas and support.

Lozeldafan (talk) 00:50, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That would be my doing. I figured that since the majority of the fans prefer the original Japanese, and that there were very little mentions of the original, I would change a bit of the wording to be more centered around the original version; how the show was meant to be enjoyed. Image copyright problem with File:Kirby from Super Star Ultra.png[edit]

The image File:Kirby from Super Star Ultra.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Hidden Link[edit]

I noticed early in the series when Tiff was told about a star warrior that would save them (which was Kirby, big surpprise there) Tiff thinks about what he/she (he!) looks like, what she comes up with looks exactly like Link from "The Legend of Zelda".

A couple of things[edit]

Under Meta Knight, Star Warrior links to a page that has no relation to this. Under Satire & Parody, shouldn't it mention about the strong resemblance of Sword Kirby to Link?

Sword Kirby's ONLY difference to Link, as far as the hat, is that Kirby's has a little puff on it. Flamefox2 (talk) 22:28, 4 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

4Kids no longer works with the Kirby brand[edit]

Does this mean either of the following:

a) The show's rights were moved to another place b) The show is now banned nationwide c) The show and its rights are now automatically released to the public domain

Hint: I don't think the creators own the rights anymore either, they pulled all the DVD's from the stock shelves.

All episodes are being released on the new Kirby TV Channel on PAL regions.[edit]

The channel is free, episodes will be released every Monday and Thursday until 1st December, and each episode will be available for 14 days -- shouldn't someone add something about this in the article?--The Ultimate Koopa (talk) 21:10, 23 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Kirby vacuum cleaners[edit]

why in god's name does the "kirby vacuum cleaner" hyperlink i was using for research automatically link to something about kirby the video game character in a tv show saturday morning from 2000-2003? kirby vacuum cleaners are still a thing, and a video game character didn't replace them. nevermind that nintendo straight up just used the name and action of a vacuum cleaner company to ride on someone else's coat tails. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:6C48:597F:E2FD:45C2:369D:1055:ACE5 (talk) 21:07, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yoshi Right Back At Ya...?[edit]

In the see also section, a show called Yoshi Right Back At Ya is listed. Obviously this show doesn't exist, and I'm surprised no one has noticed. Can someone remove that? I'd remove it myself, but the article is semi-protected as of right now and I don't have plans to give myself a Wikipedia account, sooooo... yeah. 78.19.106.67 (talk) 10:42, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Amy Birnbaum[edit]

When, other than the first episode dub, did Amy Birnbaum voice act Kirby? While other sources state she voice acted them in more than one, they don’t clarify when. 162.83.251.154 (talk) 01:32, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

To my knowledge, I think throughout the first ten episodes, Amy's voice would be used to fill in Kirby's voice when his original voice track could not be separated into a single voice byte!!! --Vaati the Wind Demon (talk) 13:38, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
