Rationale for PROD[edit]

While most inhabited places are notable, there seems to be extremely little enyclopedic content to tell about this village. The best option would be to merge it into another article about a larger place in the vicinity. But there does not seem to be such article; a merger discussion revealed that Sidon is not an appropriate article to merge to, and other related articles are lacking at this time. --B. All inhabited places without exception are considered notable in WP. -- I agree it's a little silly, but that's what the consensus at AfD always says. always. You are welcome to test it, but you will get a WP:SNOBALL keep. DGG (talk) 00:35, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I don't quite agree with the reasoning for notability. (See also User:Uncle G/On notability#Notability is not a blanket,) But I will list the article for expansion; let's see whether it can be expanded and sourced.
