Merger proposal and article rename[edit]

The current article "Kenmore (plantation)" was started in 2006. In 2007 another article apparently about the same place, Kenmore (Fredericksburg, Virginia), was started. They should be merged to the older article, this one, I think. However, the name "Kenmore (Fredericksburg, Virginia)" is preferable in my view, for consistency to other NHRP place names in the U.S. doncram (talk) 18:30, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is also Kenmore (Spotsylvania, Virginia), a different place built in the 1800s, while the Fredericksburg one was built in 1700s. doncram (talk) 18:36, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Both of the places may be plantation houses, so it seems not helpful, to me, to include (plantation) in the name. Rather disambiguate by adding (City, State), seems best to me, consistent with other NRHP naming. doncram (talk) 21:59, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
