Hogue Kemp Lewis maybe Cake (talk) 03:59, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@MisterCake: as you can see, I've renamed this article and expanded it to include Lewis's brief tenure as head coach at TCU in 1910. On what did you based the "H. G." initials? Where did "Hogue" come from in your comment above? Thanks, Jweiss11 (talk)
Not sure about Hogue at the moment. But see here or here for H. G. Lewis. Cake (talk) 20:55, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Guessing Hogue might be an artifact from "Cyrus D. Hogue" being in the same class at Sewanee. Cake (talk) 21:03, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Did he and his brother have the same name? Or did his brother play too? Cake (talk) 21:12, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Only one Lewis in the team pic - pretty good one if article gets expanded. Maybe mislabeled as his brother sometimes or something. It seems Guy was from Dallas and Kemp from Houston. Cake (talk) 03:18, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Also if that genealogy is correct, and his family comes from the Carolinas to Texas, then one wonders if any relation to Kemp Plummer Battle. Cake (talk) 14:35, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
