I'm not familiar with the expression "builded place". English is not my primary language, so I just have to ask: is "builded place" a common and normal expression in English? I got no hits on websters online and a few other dictionaries, but we have an expression in Norwegian, "bebyggelse", which simply means the places people live. Is it something like that? --Ingvald 19:57, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Dwellings" or "habitations"......both meaning "the places people live". The usage for a "builded place" would be "built-up area" or, for a single structure, "a building" (NB "building" is also a verb participle).Skookum1 (talk) 01:34, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

is the pic Kopervik or Skudenes?[edit]

The picture should be captioned; I had a look at the image page, there's no indication there either; I'm guessing Kopervik because I think the entry to Skudeneshavn harbour has more houses around the entrance, but ..... it's been 37 year since I was there, I don't really remember....and have never seen either offshore.Skookum1 (talk) 01:32, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
