Are Bengali Baidyas/Vaidyas Originally Kandus[edit]

In Bengal Only one group use the Gupta Surname but it is concatenated with another one; the ending one is Gupta : like Dash-Gupta, Sen-Gupta, Kor-Gupta etc. Only Gupta is also available among them .
