Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.

If nominators or editors could refrain from updating the particular section that I am updating until it is complete, I would appreciate it to remove a edit conflict. Please address concerns in the section that has been completed above (If I've raised concerns up to references, feel free to comment on things like the lede.)

I generally provide an overview of things I read through the article on a first glance. Then do a thorough sweep of the article after the feedback is addressed. After this, I will present the pass/failure. I may use strikethrough tags when concerns are met. Even if something is obvious why my concern is met, please leave a message as courtesy.

Best of luck! you can also use the {{done}} tag to state when something is addressed. Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs)

Please let me know after the review is done, if you were happy with the review! Obviously this is regarding the article's quality, however, I want to be happy and civil to all, so let me know if I have done a good job, regardless of the article's outcome.

Lede[edit]

  • alongside CW - is it not the CW? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:05, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • I think the lede should cover at least in part what type of broadcasts are made (this seems like mostly news from a scan). Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:05, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

General[edit]

  • UHF - link? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:12, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Bluebird of Happy News" - is this a quote? Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:12, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • link baseball. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:12, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • In 1981, the Suns signed a 13-year agreement to telecast games through American Cable[12] (resulting in the launch of the Arizona Sports Programming Network), which sub-licensed games to ON TV in part because they had not wired all of the metropolitan area.[13 - this could probbaly be two sentences to avoid the link after a word. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:12, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • 1994 United States broadcast TV realignment - the article is no longer at this page. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:12, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • The alt of the helicopter image describes it as "black and yellow", I'd say it's also white. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:12, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • everything else looks good. Best Wishes, Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 13:12, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Lee Vilenski:  Done except for linking baseball, which is probably a common enough term to a US audience that there is no need for a link. Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 17:26, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
