is the standard knife of the Bundeswehr, mostly used by the German Army. In fact, Bundeswehr IS the name of the german army.

Not exactly. Bundeswehr is the name of the German military as a whole, including the army (or Heer), air force and navy (among others). κаллэмакс 22:32, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Since there is a screw in the handle, are there not three components to the knife? --MartinezMD (talk) 15:34, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It could easily be argued that the screw is part of the handle... --24.68.252.132 (talk) 08:05, 23 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is there any real proof of the statement that the knife is given to the German military as part of the military gear? Often these types of claims are made but I see no link to prove this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.64.22.229 (talk) 13:05, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

At least a short time ago, it was not usually given at least to normal troops (though a multi-use pocket knife is), but soldiers can and do purchase them and use them.--2001:A61:260D:6E01:E004:F71:751:2DFC (talk) 10:32, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
