Cheese[edit]

Her traditional emblem is a cream cheese? (wtf?) Paul 15:30, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A soft cheese, like brie. Walgamanus 16:27, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Alrighty then. No reason why that can't be an emblem, now that I think of it. Paul 22:21, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Head[edit]

Carried her own head?

"Bana felt her underclothes and found them moist, whereupon he immediately struck off her head. A spring of water appeared at the spot. Juthwara then carried her head back to the church."

So, her head was struck off and then a well sprung up and then, beheaded and assumingly then very dead, she carried back her own head to a church? This makes no sense at all so I just wondered if the text was actually entered correctly here or if there had been some error.

It's called a miracle. This particular miracle was very common amongst holy cephalophores. Walgamanus 21:17, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The legend of Juthwara records that she carried her own head. Of course, this is not an historical account. The story is, essentially, a folktale. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ka1313 (talkcontribs) 13:28, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
