Endorsements[edit]

As written, the purpose of the "Endorsements" section is to imply that the JCCR is a right-wing organization because it is endorsed by other right-wing organizations. This is clearly stated in the text of the section. SAFS is not a right-wing organization, so it doesn't belong on the list. Either reword the section or remove the reference to SAFS.

In any case, as it stands, the Endorsements section misrepresents the endorsements because it conflates endorsements by INDIVIDUALS with endorsements by ORGANIZATIONS with which the individuals are affiliated. Bueller 007 (talk) 16:09, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think that JCCR and SAFS aren't right wing or just SAFS? As for the endorsements I think it's fairly clear they are speaking as reps of their companies as almost all of the individuals are either Executive Directors, Presidents, CEOs, or some combo of the two. Would you prefer something like this:

Clive Seligman, President, Society for Academic Freedom and Scholarship

And I disagree with what you think the endorsements section implies. It's listing (all) the endorsements and saying that some of them are right wing. Not all of them need to be right wing for the current description to be accurate.

concern about potential libel: you write: Campus hate speech activist Lindsay Shepherd, former Teaching Assistant at Sir-Wilfrid Laurier University who openly pushed transphobic ideas alongside racist allegations in a class room setting [26], joined the JCCF in 2019.[27]

This is pretty clearly libelous, or at the very least pushes a POV. And it cites Lindsey Shepherd's wikipedia page, as opposed to a real source. Removed phrase "The organization is biased and prejudiced against indigenous Canadians in favour of evangelical Protestants." The Guardian article cited does not make that statement. It says that a client was an evangelical Protestant.^[1]
