A pen name?[edit]

Could Jude Watson be a pen name for many authors who have contributed to these series, like Franklin W. Dixon was to the The Hardy Boys series? --Ambassadorhorn (talk) 18:30, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

From what it said on the National Book Award page [1], it looks like Jude Watson is not a house pseudonym (as suggested above), but is specifically the pseudonym of Judy Blundell. --Aabbott (talk) 15:01, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Judy Blundell[edit]

Given that Jude Watson's identity has been revealed by the National Book Awards, should this page be changed to Judy Blundell? --Aabbott (talk) 15:01, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've gone ahead and boldly merged Judy Blundell into this article per WP:COMMONNAME. VernoWhitney (talk) 18:06, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
To elaborate on the above, if she continues writing books under her own name or further pseudonyms are confirmed, I think this article should likely be moved to Judy Blundell, but with most of her verifiable work as Jude Watson I think here's a good place for now. Biography[edit]

This article lacks some exceptionally basic information. When was she born? Which was her first book? (Did LucasBooks recruit a beginner to write Princess Leia's journal?) Is What I Saw the first book by "Judy Blundell"?

Her books should be dated at least with a range of dates for each series. --P64 (talk) 16:32, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

death[edit]

An anonymous edit in 2018 listed the place of her death as "Arizona Falls". Another anonymous edit in 2019 changed this to "Taipei city, Taiwan". Neither cites a reference, and nothing else in the article indicates that she has passed away (including that it's still listed as a BLP). Can anyone confirm/deny either of these reports of her death? The way both were added (with only a location and no other details) makes them feel a little vandally. 136.49.165.244 (talk) 23:57, 10 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
