Public domain[edit]

Re: public domain/copying: If it's in the public domain there's nothing saying we can't host the material, but really all that does is absolve us from the copyvio aspect of a review. It still needs to meet the notability and verifiability guidelines. Primefac (talk) 17:33, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • The quoted material is from two sources: a book of the history of Detroit, and a contemporaneous trade paper. I believe these pass verifiability. The only question is whether the claims add up to notability. Of course, these are just sources - the article would still need to be written. bd2412 T 18:10, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A slight rearrangement of the material is all that's required to make it read more like a wikipedia page. If notability, once achieved, is permanent than the two sources that profile him so extensively support notability in his profession on both a city wide and industry wide basis.
