Copyvio[edit]

I added the copyvio tag because it was a straight cut & paste from the bio information at Cervantes' site. The article can use the cite as a reference for information about Cervantes, but can't copy it verbatim. Chondrite 21:16, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

At leats one of Cervantes' books seems to be notable, the amazon.com page [1] shows multiple independent reviews. Chondrite 21:16, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Are you seriously questioning this guys notability? Ask anyone whose grown cannabis in the last 25+ years if they have ever heard of this guy, 9 times out of 10 they not only heard of him, it was his books/magazine col's/dvd's that taught them in the first place. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.224.183.192 (talk) 21:04, 14 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV and Offtopic[edit]

Was someone high when they wrote/copied this article? I'm a pro-legalization, and I snapped my neck reading this. Is this article about Jorge or Marijuana history? Can anyone tell from random clippings? Even the Background section ends with "research this fascinating medicinal plant." From this point on, it's more Cannabis that Cervantes.

I was hoping to find out what he went to college for, if it was horticulture or if he had training regarding horticulture before college. I read more in off-hand and biased references (e.g. grain alcohol) to psychoactive entertainment versus the war on drugs* than anything before that actually regarding Jorge.

If this is all wikipedia is going to have, I'm a step away from recommending a merger to personalities/marijuana/legality/high times, somewhere other than his own article.
