Authorship of chronicle?
The rejection of his authorship of the chronicle continuation has far from convinced everyone. The continuation was written onto the end of a chronicle he presented to the college during the time he was a very hands-on master, and is so idiosyncratic that it is hard to believe anyone could have done this without at least his knowledge and permission, indeed close involvement.
