Copyright problem[edit]

This article has been reverted by a bot to this version as part of a large-scale clean-up project of multiple article copyright infringement. (See the investigation subpage) This has been done to remove User:Accotink2's contributions as they have a history of extensive copyright violation and so it is assumed that all of their major contributions are copyright violations. Earlier text must not be restored, unless it can be verified to be free of infringement. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions must be deleted. Contributors may use sources as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences or phrases. Accordingly, the material may be rewritten, but only if it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously. Redundant photographs[edit]

There are two photographs of the subject, obviously taken at the same time and place and most likely by the same photographer. One is the solo head shot in the infobox, and the other is a nearly identical but wider shot of him standing beside Swoosie Kurtz. At first I thought the first was cropped from the second, but now I see differences:

Guare at the 2009 premiere of PoliWood
Guare and Swoosie Kurtz at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival.

When I saw the second and noticed how similar it is to the first, I assumed it was included to illustrate a particular relationship between Guare and Kurtz. However, she is mentioned nowhere in this article except in the caption of that photograph, with no indication why she is there.

Since the second photograph adds nothing to the article except unanswered questions as to why Kurtz is in it, I am going to remove it. If someone wants to restore it along with an explanation in the article of Kurtz's relationship to Guare, that'll be great, but as it stands now it detracts from rather than adds to the article's value.--Jim10701 (talk) 22:11, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
