The following link has been removed.

For the following reasons:

1. The Gutenberg project list Bourne, John C., E. and shows the publication "A Catechism of the Steam Engine"
2. This publication by part of a series of books about steam engines between about 1850 and 1878, see here
3. Multiple sources, such as the VIAF listing, the Science Museum biography, and also Benezit Dictionary of British Graphic Artists and Illustrators. p. 154 don't mention these kind of publications.
4. So this John Bourne (C.E.) doesn't seem the same person as John Cooke Bourne.

The Locomotive Engine-house at Camden Town, with Chimney Shafts to Stationary Engine, &c.; 5. Entrance to the Watford Tunnel; 6. Horse-runs on the Embankment at Boxmoor; 7. The Embankment at Wonderfull during its progress; 8. Viaduct over the Avon. with Descriptive Notices of each Scene, and Remarks on the Railway System of Communication, its Objects, and Effects.

Further comment

Most interesting is that this advertisement gives another listing of publication, then described by John Claudius Loudon (1838) (see here and here). Loudon gave a listing of "the lithographs which will be contained in the whole work." Apparently the first part of the publication not simply offered the drawings 1 to 8. -- Mdd (talk) 20:13, 19 February 2014 (UTC)

Also interesting that the bottom of the advertisement shows, that the work could be sold in three places in London, and in seven other cities. -- Mdd (talk) 20:18, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
