– The article about a far-right person is the most viewed this year. However, the article's competitor, "John Bean (cinematographer)", has been viewed occasionally or sometimes more than this article in certain daily views. I also question the person's historical significance. This person hasn't won an election throughout his life. Furthermore, the cinematographer was/has been posthumously designated by the Australian Cinematographers Society, and a memorial scholarship names after the late cinematographer. On the other hand, this man with far-right views hasn't been designated yet, and his name hasn't yet been used for any scholarship or other. Alternatively, if "(politician)" isn't suitable, how about "John Bean (activist)" or "John Bean (far-right member)", or what else? (BTW, there was a founder of the same name, whose company has become JBT Corporation.) George Ho (talk) 01:03, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support 2nd move, and Support 1st (but neutral on what the parenthetical should be), per nom. Paintspot Infez (talk) 20:02, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support both moves. The failure of a repeated candidate to win any of their election contests on the way to promoting entirely political goals does not prevent them from being a politician. BD2412 T 00:10, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
