Humanist?[edit]

What do we mean in this article when we say that Honter was a humanist? The nature of his humanism must have been different to that which is commonly understood by the word... unless I am missing something? I have seen it mentioned in other places, but not expanded on there either.  :-/ Yaris678 (talk) 17:22, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Since I have had no reply, I have decided that the description that fits him best is renaissance humanist. He is of the right period, his works fit in with the thrust of renaissance humanism and he gets a mention in the (very long) title of this book. I have made this change.
