I object to deleting this article[edit]

I do not find the article "in universe". Just Another Cringy Username does not like the article, he decrees we must delete it. We get a week to overturn this editor, who does not like the Joe Leaphorn character. -- Prairieplant (talk) 06:02, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A policy-based objection would be a good place to start. Much better than a personal attack. Just Another Cringy Username (talk) 06:15, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I do not see any basis for your decree that the article is "in universe" and ready for speedy deletion. Perhaps you could show the perfect article about a fictional character of the 20th century, so we all might understand your objections. -- Prairieplant (talk) 06:18, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You'll find everything you need on WP:WAF, in particular the section MOS:INUNIVERSE. Just Another Cringy Username (talk) 07:04, 8 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Just Another Cringy Username Perhaps you can make the case that you see, picking out the specific points that you see, rather than sending me to a list with perhaps 20 possibilities. The article appears reasonably well-written to me, in describing the character Joe Leaphorn that Tony Hillerman used as a main character in several of his novels set in the Southwest of the US. You have not made a case as yet. Is it the verb tenses to which you object? That can be simply fixed. -- Prairieplant (talk) 03:06, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've tagged it w/ my concerns. Should be self-explanatory. Just Another Cringy Username (talk) 05:28, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
