I would appreciate if this page could be re edited or reassigned as it is confusing the careers of two totally separate people who happen to share the same name.

The first reference about Joe Lancaster, born 28th April 1926, who played as a goalkeeper for Manchester United and then went on to play for Accrington Stanley is correct. However, he did not die on the 15 December 2015, I should know, he's my father and is still with us on this date (25th January 2016).

All the other impressive facts regarding the Joe Lancaster who was a fitness trainer for Manchester City and a renowned athlete, and who apparently died on 15th December 2015, are a totally different and unrelated person.

I have deliberately not edited the page myself (may have been interpreted as vandalism) as it seems to need major surgery, but have hopefully left it to more qualified contributors.
