Job in computer processing?[edit]

Is there an article that discusses "Job" in respect to computer processing? I didn't see any disambigulator for that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Catrachos (talkcontribs) 18:45, 12 April 2011 (UTC) job<in jharkhnd>:;>rul of<<<> — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.245.101.144 (talk) 15:57, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Addition to section regarding the roles and responsibilites of a job description within an organization with information derived from Al-Marwai, Sahal & Subramaniam, I D. (2009). A Review of the Need for Writing & Updating Job Descriptions for 21st Century Organizations.. European Journal of Social Sciences. 12. 241-251.. Also proposing addition of citations directly into subcategories of the article so it is linked directly rather than mentioned at the end. Baileevalentine (talk) 18:35, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge with Job description management[edit]

Job Description Management, as a standalone term, appears to be just a buzzword for pitching Job Description Management Solutions. Exclusive of that, the remaining encyclopedic content would be appropriate for a section of the main job description article. Furrykiller (talk) 11:36, 11 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am inclined to agree. I would support a merge into Job description with redirect. · · · Peter (Southwood) (talk): 11:07, 27 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Demographics/ Equity Gaps[edit]

In hopes to reduce equity gaps, the article should include more content on the legality of 'Job Descriptions' not only of ones from the US. Four sources of labour laws- relevant to job description- were given in the Legality section, but all were derived from United States Law. This prevents readers from all different demographics to relate to this article, as they are unsure how it would differ from their countries guidelines. Adding more information into the subsections "Development Goals" and "Legality" will fill the article more and help add depth to context of the information. Additionally, imbedding cites directly into the content will provide a more visually appealing look as well as help readers access material more swiftly.--Grenierj8 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 23:51, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
