Table Style[edit]

If the parties who appear to be starting an edit war on this page, would please continue the discussion here or on the Project Talk Page before further revisions, I'd appreciate it. Per the current discussion as I read it, it appears that there lacks consensus on either side of the argument. If further discussions could be done here before any revisions, I'd appreciate it. (Additionally, Tennis Expert, I appreciate all the work you've done on the other pages and have sat in silent reverence of it for some time. Still, your comment on the reversion regarding changing the revert due to a blocked user was a little off the mark, as 81.184.39.254 hasn't in fact been blocked. Going to refrain from adding a biting/civility warning based on your long contributions to Tennis subject matter. If that IP belongs to a specific user that has been blocked, and you can cite evidence, please do.) Don't mean to be butting my head in here, but I hate seeing edit wars on my watch list. Right on the mark. See this and everything linked there. And thanks for the recognition! Tennis expert (talk) 20:20, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Got it. Thanks for the link! I'll back up page table style remaining as it currently stands until further discussion on the matter is had. At the same time, if you could cite the matter being under discussion as the reason for the revert as opposed to a suspected blocked user, I'd appreciate it. I also can see how the edit/comment styles are similar between Wikitestor and the IP involved here, but if we're wrong, and we scare off a potential new contributor who hasn't gotten the hang of things yet, Wikitestor had even more of a negative effect than just a couple reverts. Thanks again! Gnowor (talk) 21:05, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Decline in resluts

Has anybody reliable information about his decline? I am not satisfied with the explanation in the article in which is said that a new generation of players emerged with groundstrokes which matched his.

The players who became more successful were already there and also quite successful when he startet his dominance from 1991-1993. Pete Sampras break through was before that of Jim Courier, Agassi was also successful before these times, Michael Stich as well, Boris Becker, Ivanisevic, Chang and so on. I dont think there was a new generation.

Has he ever said aomething about his decline? Maybe he was no longer that enthusiastic about tennis?

Commentating Style[edit]

His after match interviews are just awful. Especially at the Australian Open and Especially women players. Cringe!ROxBo (talk) 16:06, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

frying pan[edit]

Jim Courier won a match using a frying pan once, in the late 80’s i guess. When, where and against who it was? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8a0:ecab:9e01:280f:937e:cd48:bec2 (talk) 19:13, 1 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
