Language issue[edit]

I think the statement "Ji took some of the blame" needs some clarification, more than just a link. I don't think you can make such a statement without a more detailed explanation of the incident. I've read a little bit about it and if I can add that clarification myself I will. BashBrannigan (talk) 04:51, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Done, and also moved the entire topic to its own section. --Crunch (talk) 12:42, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Crunch for expanding and moving to it's own section. However, I also agree with WilliamJE removing the caddy's comments. I've read more about the LPGA English Only issue and it's complex enough that it should be handled carefully and fairly here. From what I can understand proponents of the rule say it helps promote golf in the US. However, while it would seem reasonable for althletes from other countries on sports teams (basketball, baseball, etc) to learn english, if you are inviting somone to a tournament that seems to me substantially different. However my opinion isn't relevant for Wikipedia. What is relevant is that there are many opposed to the rule and that should be reflected here. If we are going to mention the controversy, we should mention who opposes it and why with references.BashBrannigan (talk) 00:05, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable Sources of information for Korean golf[edit]

Does anyone have an opinion of the website http://www.seoulsisters.com ? This is obviously a fan site, but it's the only site in English I can find which has a large amount of information on Korean female golfers. Is is reliable enough for Wikipedia to use for citations, etc?BashBrannigan (talk) 18:06, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
