Photos of jewels[edit]

Why are there not pictures of the jewels written about? The article would be so much stronger. Eschoryii (talk) 03:40, 29 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

And why does the same picture appear twice? ChiHistoryeditor (talk) 16:30, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Aquamarine ring discrepancy[edit]

In the section about Diana's engagement ring, the article notes that she continued to wear the ring even after her divorce. In the section on the aquamarine ring that the Duchess of Sussex wore to her wedding reception, however, it says Diana had it commissioned to replace the sapphire ring. Both may be true (perhaps Diana didn't want to always wear the sapphire ring) but it needs to be clarified. ChiHistoryeditor (talk) 22:24, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Lower-casing princess[edit]

I did some copyediting on the pearls section, and I realized that "princess" is capitalized in all instances in the article, which contradicts Wiki's MOS. Is there a search/replace function that can make it easier to correct the entire article where necessary? ChiHistoryeditor (talk) 17:41, 18 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Tiaras and headbands section[edit]

@Keivan.f: Your edit here removing the summary of the Tiaras and headbands section is justified inaccurately. It is not unsourced, all the sources in that section support the brief two sentence summary. Just because there's no citation directly attached does not mean it is unsourced (see lede section of basically every article). It is also not a "restatement"–the text is unique and not repeated elsewhere in the article. Unless you have a better reason I think you should revert your edit. ––𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗗𝘂𝗱𝗲 talk 22:40, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@FormalDude: As a person who has contributed to the article I pretty much know which part discusses which topics. I suggest you go back and re-read the sentence. First of all, it’s not a summary of tiaras given to Diana by the Queen. In fact that statement itself is inaccurate because Diana only had one tiara on loan from the Queen and the other two were chokers that she simply wore as headbands. Additionally, it has been stated at the very top of the page that some items in Diana’s jewelry collection were given to her by the Queen; so it’s not necessary to repeat that statement at the beginning of each section. @Keivan.f: Thank you for the explanation; I am sorry for my interruption and any inconvenience. ––𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗗𝘂𝗱𝗲 talk 05:34, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
