File:Jean rollin at his home.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:Jean rollin at his home.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 24 October 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review

References[edit]

This article has been tagged since December 2016 for "self-published sources" and "sources may not be reliable". I've been through and tidied them but the article appears to rely a lot on Jeremy Richey's blogs, mainly "Fascination: The Jean Rollin Experience" but also "Moon in the Gutter". It also makes frequent reference to a publication called "The Films of Jean Rollin" (volumes 3 and 5) which has no details given about author, publisher etc and I can't find any other references to it online. Richey's Fascination blog entries are no longer on the given URLs and few of the entries are archived, so I've had to tag them as dead, though a more exhaustive search may find them somewhere. Is it time for a complete rewrite? --Northernhenge (talk) 11:16, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
