I´ve reading which is poorly sourced on this particular, but maybe it´s true anyways so I´m just going to ask anyone who comes here if they can prove it for me, that Paulhan was a member of a "College of Sociology" that was run by the Erotic theorist Georges Bataille, also that he was a mentor to the Nazi Gerhard Heller, and that he Paulhan "had a longstanding fascination with secret societies and intiatory orders." Also supposedly this college was run by Roger Callois and that it´s ideas resembled those of Perennialist Mircea Eliade, in that they belived that "the College saw modern society moving further and further away from the sacred, a trend they considered disatrous."
