Independent → Forces et Démocratie[edit]

It already indicates exactly what you propose, and has done since literally the very day he announced the switch. So I'm not sure I understand your question — am I missing something here, or are you? Never mind, I was missing something: while much of the article had been updated with his new FeD affiliation, there was one sentence in the article where an assertion that he is unaffiliated with a party had been left untouched. @Bearcat: Thanks! To be honest, despite WP:BOLD, I didn’t want to make the change in case it upset some related WikiProject rule for politician articles. Thanks again!
