Disambiguation needed?[edit]

This page is currently about James Robert Williams, the Illinois Congressman during the late 19th and early 20th century, who was also a lawyer. There is now a link to another James R. Williams, and he is identified as a lawyer. This latter James R. Williams was also a President of Alpha Phi Alpha. It seems like some disambiguation is needed.

If the latter James R. Williams has a middle name other than "Robert", then it seems easy. James R. Williams becomes a disambiguation page, James R. Williams (lawyer) becomes a redirect to the disambiguation page, and the full names become the biographies.

If they share the same name, then some thought needs to be put into this. NYCRuss 17:31, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know the middle name of the latter James R. Williams. However, the latter was judge, so could we say "for the judge" or "the Ohio lawyer"?Ccson (talk) 03:33, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
They were both judges also. I'm not sure how to handle this, or if the current arrangement is acceptable. NYCRuss 13:47, 24 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
