Wrong image[edit]

This image,

James Hamilton 6th Earl of Abercorn

represents the 6th Earl of Abercorn. It has twice been mistaken for that of the 1st Earl. I had found this image as an illustration of the entry for the 1st Earl on The Peerage (from where it has been removed since) and had at 08:11, 25 May 2019 added it to this article. The User:Andreas Philopater recognised that the style of the wig showed that the picture must represent a later earl. He therefore removed the picture at 12:49, 9 May 2020. I then added the picture to the article James Hamilton, 6th Earl of Abercorn. User:Chiinobis added the image a second time at 20:36, 25 July 2021. This edit was reverted at 20:41, 25 July 2021 by User:Future Perfect at Sunrise. I hope it will not pop up here again. Johannes Schade (talk) 12:08, 26 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
