By 1860, Hawkins was the owner of 101 African slaves.

What is the purpose of quoting these slave-counts? Are they meant to be like points on your driving licence? I think we should be told if these are the new ground-rules. Valetude (talk) 14:16, 16 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
