Don't know how relevant or encyclopediac it is, but there are two origami book writers by the names of Steve and Megumi Biddle. Just a silly bit of fluff that I thought someone might find interesting, especially japanophiles like me. Calicore 03:37, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Contradiction of information on Biddle[edit]

Later, in 1817, he was sent to the Columbia River to formally take over the Oregon Country for the United States, which was completed in 1818.

In 1818, the United States sloop Ontario, Capt. James Biddle, was sent to the mouth of Columbia River. He returned without having anchored. This is the only visit of a public vessel to that coast. (Have source) Brother Officer 07:30, 29 November 2006 (UTC)--[reply]
