Problem with broken name ref[edit]

I came to the page from Category:Pages with broken reference names. If you look in the ref section #2 reads ^ Cite error: The named reference e16 was invoked but never defined (see the help page). The relevant text is "Egland (1978) found 73% intelligibility with Huautla, the prestige variety of Mazatec." I found the 'Egland (1978)' full citation on the Huautla Mazatec article and copied it across as an unnamed ref because 'e16' wasn't cited elsewhere in the article and wasn't needed. If its left as is, it refers to nothing, and the error message remains. AnonNep (talk) 21:14, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I see. That would have worked too. I checked it was still reported in E17, and updated to that. There might be a problem of Ethnologue not fully reflecting what Egland says, so it might be best to check Egland before reffing her directly. — kwami (talk) 22:04, 13 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
