Death[edit]

While I've used Hollywood Highlights, the sole googlable ref for Hooker's death at this time, as a source. Dubiously reliable, but it does include a confirming statement from Lorna Luft, possibly sourced from facebook - arguably LL's official site. I am sure further sources will emerge. Birth year[edit]

The cited source (Larkin) may say 1952, but this obituary (cited at Deaths in 2014) says 1953 and so gives his age at death as 61 not 62. We need to resolve the inconsistency. Ghmyrtle (talk) 18:49, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I went with Larkin as it was the earliest (many celebrities take a year or two off their age if they can get away with it) and seemed a more reliable source than Highlight Hollywood. Hopefully there will be a decent obit. in a good source (i.e. one that goes a bit deeper than just reporting what they've seen on the internet) before too long that will give us a better idea. --Michig (talk) 20:37, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Divorce date[edit]

Thanks Michig for stalwart work on the refs. I'm surprised how little this has changed from my original revamp. Lede reads a little odd to me by starting with the real name.
