Appropriate article subject?[edit]

Is this an appropriate subject for an article? Generally, if a person is only known for a single event, it's normally a redirect to that event. Also, at the time of this writing, everything in this article is already in the article about the gun. Ego White Tray (talk) 04:24, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A bio is of the Jack Lott is appropriate. While he is best known for his .458, he is also known for his writing on several gun and historical topics. I've started with his invention and a bibliography, and the article will continue to grow. Ctatkinson (talk) 04:31, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
