Images of chaos[edit]

Ekeland doesn't discuss the Julia set, which has the best graphic. He does discuss the Feigenbaum bifurcation of the iterated logistic function system.  Kiefer.Wolfowitz  (Discussion) 23:10, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mathematics and the unexpected and Jurassic park[edit]

Before Crichton's Jurassic Park, Ivar Ekeland and James Gleick each wrote exactly one book on chaos theory. These books were not mentioned by name in Crichton's novel, but as a courtesy to the reader I have named each.  Kiefer.Wolfowitz  (Discussion) 21:16, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
