First use of this device[edit]

I'm pretty sceptical of the claim made that "Gerhard Küntscher is credited with the first use of this device in 1939". Reference [2] talks about earlier use of the device, albeit in a slightly different form. Danielt998 (talk) 00:05, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
