Infoboxes

Add infoboxes to the player articles found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/requested infoboxes

Cricket people

Create articles about 19th century players who are listed in Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/19th century players
Create biographies about Bangladeshi players from the task force redlink list
Check the listing of key bios at Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/Key biographies and improve these to at least B-class.
Create batting/bowling graphs for cricketers who have excelled in international cricket.
Create articles for redlinks present here and here

Domestic cricket coverage is needed for Bangladesh, Canada, Kenya, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe;
Create articles from redlinks and improve existing articles in List of current first-class cricket teams; National cricket teams; Under-19 national cricket teams

Seasons[edit]

@Mashfi23, Ankurc.17, MNWiki845, Carrythebat, and Vikram maingi: Hi everyone. Tagging you in as regular editors. I checked ESPNcricinfo after someone queried why we use the existing "season" structure.

Clearly states that "as a rule of thumb, any series or tour or tournament which began between the six months of April and September of any given year will appear in the relevant single year season and any that began between October and March will appear in the relevant cross-year season."

I have always felt that April and September should be single year (e.g. the English season, and most of the European season, is played in this timeframe). Also makes it six and six. There will always be a bit of overlap when grouping events from around the world, but I definitely think going forward we should make April and September part of the single year as a first choice. I notice the article does currently say this but we are not doing it except for the odd event. Bs1jac (talk) 13:07, 4 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
