the alumni indicate some degree of notability, & unsourced is not by itself a reason for deletion. Did this college really exist? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.149.104.16 (talk) 17:50, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I believe the institution did exist, but the article paints an overly positive picture; from what I've seen, the graduate degree (PhD?) offered by the College, at least in economics, wasn't a proper PhD in economics with the usual requirements, but rather what you could call a PhD in Austrian economics. The alumni mentioned are indeed Austrian economists, which means they have zero impact on the academic mainstream; the word "renown" is used twice in the article to play up the image of this "College" and its graduates, but it's unsubstantiated.

My comments are partly based on stuff written by the alumni mentioned in the article, which are largely in Spanish. Another revealing piece of evidence is Cachanosky's thesis, which is a joke. (I haven't found the thesis itself, but he turned it into these two articles: http://www.eseade.edu.ar/servicios/Libertas/47_6_Cachanosky.pdf http://www.eseade.edu.ar/servicios/Libertas/46_4_Cachanosky.pdf )

I believe the article could stay, but it is in dire need of a rewrite, since the image it paints currently is badly distorted. 201.252.127.228 (talk) 12:46, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
