Dubious[edit]

This article (and several others) claims the city has 300,000 cherry blossom trees. It’s mentioned a few times on the website as well, but it seems a bit dubious. For a city the size of Macon, 30,000 trees would be a lot, let alone 10 times that many. Is there any independent corroboration of this figure? Or an explanation of how they manage to have so many? Although it seems rather spectacular, it is clearly stated on the official website. Unless a reliable source has raised doubts, I don't think the tag can be kept here. 8bitW (talk) 11:51, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

New Edits[edit]

Though no one has posted in this talk page recently, I wanted to be sure to share my changes with everyone following the page. I made some alterations to some of the sentences and phrasing in this article since they seemed a little wordy to me. One sentence, in particular, looked dangerously close to plagiarism so I made sure to change it as I saw fit. I also plan on adding more information to the article soon. I would appreciate any help in checking my work, as I am still new to Wikipedia!— Sabub (talk) 06:00, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
