Maybe it could be possible to start to discuss the beginnings of how these centers came to be? And then maybe go on to explain what kind of work is done? Aizzo409 (talk) 21:42, 5 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi everybody,

Question About IBC for 1976 Summer Olympics[edit]

The International Broadcast Centre for the 1976 Summer Olympics is stated in this article to be the Palais des Congrès de Montréal. However, that facility did not begin construction until the year after the Games, eventually opening in 1983. When I looked at the Palais des Congress's French counterpart article, I couldn't find any info or verification on it being the IBC for the '76 Summer Games. I think it could be a completely different facility (whether its by the name Palais des Congrès de Montréal or not) hosting the MPC/IBC. Should we go ahead and remove that IBC info from both this article and the Palais des Congress's English article, and find some verification elsewhere (like in the Official Olympic Report for the '76 Summer Games)?
