Undefined acronym[edit]

What is the equation based on?[edit]

"The equation doesn't measure BMR, but uses experiments based on doubly labelled water." Aside from containing a typo, this doesn't make much sense to me. I'm still not sure what this equation is measuring. DRogers (talk) 03:40, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Equation for girls and boys aged 3-18 may be incorrect[edit]

Based on other websites, I think the offset in this equation is incorrect. I think it should have 20, or 25 added to it. I do not have access to the published source material because it is behind a pay-wall, if anyone does have access to the original citation, could they check it. The other websites I looked at are

However, I would prefer if it was corrected in accordance with the source citation KreyszigB
