Rabbits, too[edit]

Under stress, domesticated rabbit species will also kill and eat their young. 71.219.150.164 (talk) 13:08, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is true, however the rabbit is a lagomorph and not a rodent. Degutopia (talk) 14:08, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Infanticide by taxon[edit]

Nice to see an article on this topic. Ideally we would have several taxonomic themed infanticide articles, e.g. primates, rodents, carnivora etc, but at least we now have one. Richard001 (talk) 07:48, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Infanticide by female rodents[edit]

Mother (female) hamsters commonly kill their own babies. Why isn't this mentioned? Killing babies is not confined to male rodents. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.27.236.6 (talk) 00:38, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
