Page is being repeatedly edited by sockpuppet accounts from unverified IPs in Europe and South America, likely affiliated to PMC Wagner, with unsourced and unverified claims of Tantsyura's death. Page should be considered for a lock. Zakh.Pravdy (talk) 15:07, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think we should consider citing this carefully along the lines of:
"Kremlin outlet Prada on May 2, 2023 cited a Wagner PMC claim that Tantsyura was killed in action. To date, no reliable Western source has confirmed this"
I came to this article after hearing about this claim. I wondered what the current status was.
I also suggest sticking one of those ongoing current event templates at the top of the article
Had I not seen the awful footage of the aftermath of the strike on telegram I would disregard reports of his death as conjecture or rumour, I can say with near 100% certainty Gen. Ihor Tantsurya is deceased. 2A01:4B00:AD15:B100:A802:A2D2:4294:71C7 (talk) 12:14, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We don't cite a non-reliable source only to contradict it. We would only say anything about his death if a reliable source confirmed it, preferably multiple sources. Lard Almighty (talk) 12:27, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
