"New calendar"[edit]

What "new calendar"? I have never heard this term. Is this supposed to be the Gregorian calendar? The primary editor should clarify or link this to an article, and if some dates are supposed to be in the traditional Japanese calendar or lunar calendar, don't use the month names of the Gregorian calendar.
