Dr. Pozzolo's comment on this article

Dr. Pozzolo has reviewed this Wikipedia page, and provided us with the following comments to improve its quality:

Comment 1.

The two sentences below apper contradictory: it's either 1999 or 2000. The comment on the demand of shares is imprecise and might be dropped.

In 1999, ICICI become the first Indian company and the first bank or financial institution from non-Japan Asia to be listed on the NYSE.[16]

In 2000, ICICI Bank became the first Indian bank to list on the New York Stock Exchange with its five million American depository shares issue generating a demand book 13 times the offer size.[14]

Comment 2 The section on "Role in indian financial infrastructure" is very imprecise. In particular, it is unclear what the contribution of ICICI in setting up a number of institutions (e.g., the National Stock Exchange has been). I would drop it entirely and possibly move some of the activities into the list of Acquisitions/Participations.

Comment 3 The list of products has little encyclopedic content. I would drop the section entirey and insert a link to the appropriate page of the bank's website.

Comment 4 Go green initiative and Literarary endeavors can be seen as part of the social responsability programs. A unique section listing all three sets of activities (the two above and those for elementary education) might be better.

Comment 5 Awards should be listed at the end.

Comment 6

Credit ratings change through time, there is no reason to comment them here.
